CONSENT AGENDA - The Board will be asked to approve by one motion the following items of recurring or routine business:
  2. Acknowledge Receipt and Public Filing of the Treasurer’s Report for the Month of December 2013 – David Gutierrez, County Treasurer, will discuss.
  3. Approve Out-of-State Travel for the Health and Human Services Department Manager and Court Compliance Division Manager to Attend the National Behavioral Health Conference in Washington, DC – Jamie Michael, Interim Health and Human Services Director, will discuss.
  4. Approve Out-of-State Travel for Community Development Department Employee to Attend the American Planning Association National Conference in Atlanta, GA April 26 through April 30, 2014 – Daniel Hortert, Community Development Director, will discuss.
  5. Accept New Mexico Federal Land Access Program Funding Agreement for Dripping Springs Road and Baylor Canyon Road Improvement Project, and Approve Budget Resolution and Revision and Delegate Signature Authority to the County Manager to Sign All Related Documents – Robert Armijo, County Engineer, will discuss.
  6. Approve a Resolution Authorizing the County Manager to Negotiate a Contract between Doña Ana County and the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority for the Purpose of Administering the Subdivision, Zoning, Planning and Platting Service Areas – Luis Marmolejo, Senior Planner, will discuss.
  7. Approve Amended Resolution to Adopt “Voting Convenience Centers” for the 2014 Primary and General Elections – Lynn J. Ellins, County Clerk, will discuss.

  8. Appoint One Member to Serve on the Mesilla Valley Public Housing Authority Commission for the Remainder of a Five-Year Term – Janine Divyak, Chief Planner, will discuss.
  9. Approve Collective Bargaining Agreement between American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (Blue Collar) and Doña Ana County – John C. Caldwell, County Attorney, will discuss.
PUBLIC HEARING/ORDINANCE
  10. Public Hearing to Adopt an Ordinance Amending the Code of Doña Ana County Chapter 300, Subdivision of Land – Jonathan Kesler, Planner, will discuss.
CORRESPONDENCE
  11. Lynn Ellins, County Clerk, will present to the Commission any claims received by Doña Ana County.

COMMISSION MAY CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION to discuss collective bargaining negotiations between the County and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Blue Collar bargaining unit, and threatened or pending litigation involving a tax matter, as authorized by the Open Meetings Act, § 10-15-1 (H) (5) and (7), respectively.

COMMISSION MAY CONVENE IN OPEN SESSION to take action, if any, on the closed session items.

COMMISSION ADJOURNS AS THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND THE COUNTY BOARD OF FINANCE IN OPEN SESSION.
