SHERIFF’S OFFICE HAWKS K-9 TOYS FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDRAISER

The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office is selling unique, limited-edition K-9 collectibles as a fundraiser for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics athletes.

Each stuffed dog is about seven inches tall and features the sheriff’s department badge and K-9 unit patch. Each dog is for sale to the public for $15.

“The Law Enforcement Torch Run has been a cause our department has endorsed and supported for almost 20 years,” said Sheriff Todd Garrison. “Any support we can give to Special Olympics athletes in New Mexico is time and energy well spent.”

Anyone can purchase a collectible K-9 at the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office main offices at 845 N. Motel Boulevard in Las Cruces between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
