ORDER
OF THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY FIRE MARSHALL
DOÑA ANA COUNTY BURN BAN RESCINDED

By this Order of the Doña Ana County Fire Marshal, the Burn Ban Order previously imposed by the Fire Marshal in accordance with Ordinance 262A-2013 on June 11, 2013, is, hereby, rescinded due to the improvement in fire and drought conditions in the unincorporated areas of Doña Ana County, after consulting data published by the National Inter-Agency Fire Center and the United States Forest Service, including Southwest Observed Fire Danger Class and Southwest Forecast Fire Danger Class maps.

Although the previous Burn Ban Order is rescinded by this Order, residents are reminded that anyone wishing to burn vegetation or rubbish in the unincorporated areas of Doña Ana County MUST continue to follow the Legal Open Burn rules located on Doña Ana County’s webpage (www.donaanacounty.org) and that they MUST contact the Dispatch Center at (575) 526-0795 before burning for notification of the burn.
Doña Ana County reserves the right to re-impose burning restrictions if fire and drought conditions deteriorate.
