VOTE! NAME-THE-POLICE-DOG CONTEST NARROWED DOWN TO FIVE FINALISTS
More than 400 people responded to a name-the-police-dog contest announced Feb. 7 by the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department. NEW STUDENT ART SHOW ANNOUNCED; RECEPTION SCHEDULED FOR FEB. 23
More than 100 pieces of original student artwork from the Las Cruces and Gadsden public schools have been installed in the first-floor corridors of the Doña Ana County Government Center at 845 N. Motel Blvd. in Las Cruces. The exhibit includes paintings, etchings and drawings. The artists range from elementary students to high schoolers. read more...

CULVERT INSTALLATION, WIDENING FORCES COUNTY ROAD CLOSURE
