On Thursday mornings, you can tune in to the following stations: KGRT Morning Country Show with Joel and Patricia at approximately 7:40 a.m., then on HOT 103.1’s Morning Show (approx. 8:02-8:05 a.m.). In addition, you can hear updates throughout the week at various times on AM 570, KSNM.

FREE SMOKE DETECTORS BEING DISTRIBUTED TO QUALIFIED RURAL RESIDENTS

Free smoke detectors are being distributed by 10 of Doña Ana County’s 16 volunteer fire departments. The smoke detectors were obtained through a grant secured by Rebecca Amati, a four-year volunteer of the South Valley Volunteer Fire Department and a 12-year veteran of volunteer firefighting. read more...

19 DETAINEES FACE ADDITIONAL CHARGES AFTER JAIL DISTURBANCE

New Mexico State Police will investigate a Jan. 6 disturbance at the Doña Ana County Detention Center, in which 19 maximum-security detainees vandalized a dayroom before surrendering to Special Response teams. From start to finish, the event lasted about two hours. read more...
