FIRE MARSHAL’S OFFICE OFFERS TRAINING FOR FIREWORK VENDORS

DOÑA ANA COUNTY VOTERS IN LINE FOR INFORMATION CARDS
The New Mexico Secretary of State’s Office has notified the Doña Ana County Bureau of Elections that state-issued voter-information cards will be mailed soon to registered voters who live in Doña Ana County.

VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT TO SERVE ON COUNTY HEALTH ALLIANCE
Doña Ana County is seeking volunteers to serve its health services alliance, which works through the county’s Health and Human Services Department to advise the Board of County Commissioners on a wide range of health care and human services issues.

CHAPARRAL ANIMAL-RELOCATION PROJECT UNDERWAY TODAY
The Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department is working with animal shelters in Las Cruces, El Paso, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Denver and Phoenix to relocate more than 100 animals housed at a makeshift shelter on the property of a Chaparral resident. All of the animals were found to have adequate shade, food and water. read more...

COUNTY COMMISSION BANS MOST FIREWORKS FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS
Sales and use of most fireworks will be restricted in Doña Ana County for at least 30 days, under a measure passed unanimously May 23 by the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners.

SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATES DEATH OF BORDER-CROSSER

EARLY VOTING UNDERWAY AT DOÑA ANA COUNTY COURTHOUSE
The Doña Ana County Bureau of Elections is open for early voting through June 3, in advance of the June 6 Primary Elections. The Bureau of Elections is located in the Doña Ana County Courthouse at 251 W. Amador Ave. in Las Cruces.
