BRIDGE WORK TO CLOSE VALDEZ ROAD
Beginning Feb. 8, Doña Ana County road crews will close Valdez Road between Union and Apodaca. The road will remain closed for approximately three weeks while crews from the Elephant Butte Irrigation District construct a new bridge crossing. During construction, traffic will be diverted to Snow Road and to N.M. 28.

ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER BOOKED FOR BURGLARY, INDECENT EXPOSURE
Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators today arrested Shaun J. Cordero, 26, of La Mesa, N.M., and charged him with a fourth-degree felony count of aggravated indecent exposure and a third-degree felony count of residential burglary.

FOUR-WAY STOP IN PLAY FOR TAYLOR ROAD/EL CAMINO REAL INTERSECTION
The Doña Ana County Engineering Office will post four-way stop signs at the intersection of Taylor Road and El Camino Real. The new signs will go up on March 1, 2006.

COUNTY OFFICES, SOLID-WASTE TRANSFER STATIONS ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
