COUNTY OFFICES ANNOUNCE APRIL 22 SPRING HOLIDAY
Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Friday, April 22, 2011, to allow employees to observe the 2011 spring holiday, which was approved in January by the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners. Emergency services and law enforcement in the field will not be affected, but the administrative offices of the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department will be closed.

DOÑA ANA MOUNTAIN CLEAN-UP PLANNED FOR APRIL 30
Working in conjunction with the Cruces Crawlers four-wheel-drive club, Keep America Beautiful and Doña Ana County will provide equipment and supplies for a clean-up in the Doña Ana Mountains on Saturday, April 30, 2011. Volunteers are needed.

TREASURER REMINDS PROPERTY OWNERS OF MAY 10 PAYMENT DEADLINE
Doña Ana County Treasurer David Gutierrez is reminding property owners that they have until Tuesday, May 10, to pay their second-half property taxes before state-mandated interest and penalties begin to accumulate. More than 36,600 second-half tax bills have been mailed out.
