WARRANT OBTAINED FOR SUSPECT WANTED ON SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES

Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators have obtained a warrant for a Las Cruces man wanted on allegations that he gave alcohol to two underage twin sisters inside their East Mesa home on Jan. 12, 2013.
Further evidence alleges the man sexually assaulted one of the girls.

COUNTY OFFICES ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, to allow employees to observe the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday. Emergency services and law enforcement in the field will not be affected, but the administrative offices of the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department will be closed. Saturation patrols and DWI checkpoints will be conducted in the field.
