Doña Ana County seniors with questions about legal matters will have their chance to be educated on Friday, March 24, when a workshop comes to the Village of Mesilla.

“Lawyer Referral for the Elderly,” sponsored by Doña Ana County contractor Quality Senior Services, will be held at 9 a.m. at the Old Mesilla Community Center at 2251 Calle de Santiago in Old Mesilla.

The one-hour workshop will cover a variety of issues, including power of attorney, advance health-care directives, probates, death deeds, Medicare and Medicaid.

After the workshop, private legal consultations will be provided at no charge to New Mexico residents, age 55 or older.
