WAL-MART PARTNERS WITH COUNTY FOR CLOTHES DRIVE TO AID VICTIMS

Doña Ana County employees are conducting a clothing drive to benefit flood victims in Hatch and other northern Doña Ana County communities.

Both Las Cruces Wal-Mart stores have announced they also want to help, and they will set up donation boxes outside both stores beginning today, continuing through the upcoming weekend.

Donations of blankets and clothing for adults and children are badly needed. Many evacuees from Hatch and surrounding areas arrived at evacuation centers wearing soaked clothing and with no provisions. Also sought are donations of diapers and baby formula.
