The Doña Ana County Airport at Santa Teresa has planned a celebration to mark the end of construction of massive runway improvements that put the facility in play to land large cargo jets.

The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners and other dignitaries have been invited to the May 25 event, at which there will be aircraft demonstrations and – weather permitting – parachutists. The event begins at 1 p.m.

The Doña Ana County Airport at Santa Teresa is located just off the Pete V. Domenici Highway, west of Interstate 10.
