MISSING TEEN RETURNED HOME, ONE CHARGED

One person has been arrested in connection with a Las Cruces High School student who went missing for four days last week.

Daisy Gardea, 18, was arrested Monday. Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputies say Gardea knowingly withheld information on the whereabouts of Bryanna Dickerson, 15, whose mother reported her missing on Feb. 21 after Bryanna didn’t show up at her usual pick-up location after school.

Dickerson was returned home safely Saturday, Feb. 25.

Gardea is charged with one count of resisting or obstructing for failing to provide information on Dickerson’s whereabouts. She was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center and has since been released.
