Residents of Santa Teresa and the City of Sunland Park are being asked to conserve water through the weekend while the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority repairs one of two wells that went out of service earlier this week.

One of the two wells that went down was repaired yesterday, but the other is awaiting a part that likely will not arrive until Monday.

Voluntary conservation – no lawn watering, no car washes, etc. – will allow the working well to slowly fill reservoirs for critical usage needs until the second well comes back on line.
