The Doña Ana County Detention Center will graduate eight detention officer cadets Friday, April 18.

The graduating cadets satisfactorily completed the six-week Basic Detention Officers’ Academy, which consists of physical training, classroom instruction and field experience. All training is done in-house at the county’s detention center.

Commencement will be held at the Best Western Mission Inn Friday, April 18, at 2 p.m. The Mission Inn is located at 1765 S. Main St.
