The Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following agenda at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88007.

5. Case # PUD (2) 10-003: This matter, submitted by Danny Suggs/Johnny’s Septic Tank Company, was heard before the Planning and Zoning Commission on December 9, 2010. The applicant requested a Type 2 Planned Unit Development Overlay Zone for a liquid waste disposal facility. On a motion to Approve Case #PUD (2) 10-003, the Commission voted four in favor and zero against, with zero abstentions (4-0-0), with the effect of Approving Case #PUD (2) 10-003. The applicant requested approval of the PUD Overlay Zone and pre-approval of a Conceptual Plan. The applicant is now submitting a Final Site Plan for approval. The fifteen (15) acre site is located east of Mesquite, NM and is identified as being in Township 24 South, Range 3 East, Section 21; recorded on January 20, 2010 under Instrument # 1001692 in the office of the Doña Ana County Clerk. The parcel can be further identified by Map Code # 4-015-143-330-066. Case Manager: Albert Casillas.

6. Case# CV11-019: Submitted by Lower Rio Grande Public Water Works Authority, a request for a Variance to road access standards within the Performance District. The applicant submitted a Low-Intensity, Non-Residential Application to construct a new water well for public use including a 470 sq. ft. well house, 150,000 gallon steel storage tank, and other facility infrastructure. This request will need to meet the required road access standards of 50’ of ROW or Easement and 24’ of improved roadway. The closest paved County maintained road is W. San Miguel Street, approximately 1 mile of traveled roadway. The 200’X200’ lease area is within a 80-acre property located west of La Mesa, NM and is within Section 21, Township 25 South, Range 2 East. 7. Case # CV11-016: Submitted by Socorro Murillo, Moy Surveying as Agent, a request for a Variance to road access standards within the Performance District. The applicant is proposing a County maintained sixty (60) foot wide gravel right-of-way in order to pursue a Summary Subdivision for two (2) lots; where a fifty (50) foot wide right-of-way or easement with twenty-four (24’) feet of improved roadway is required. The 2.00-acre property is located on 505 Chaparral Drive in Chaparral, NM, and is within Township 26S, Range 5E, Section 23, Map Code # 4-029-154-014-216. Case Manager: Jonathan Kesler.

8. Case # CV11-017: Submitted by Marcela Dorado, Moy Surveying as Agent, a request for a Variance to road access standards within the Performance District. The applicant is proposing a County maintained sixty (60) foot wide gravel right-of-way (Oasis Drive) an a County Maintained fifty (50) foot wide gravel right-of-way (Tornillo Drive) in order to pursue a Summary Subdivision for two (2) lots; where a fifty (50) foot wide right-of-way or easement with twenty-four (24’) feet of improved roadway is required. The 2.00-acre property is located on 637 Oasis Drive in Chaparral, NM, and is within Township 26S, Range 5E, Section 23, Map Code # 4-030-155-412-147. Case Manager: Jonathan Kesler.
