  2. Determination of quorum, introduction of new board members, and acknowledgment of guests

    1. Public construction
      1. Runway and taxiway extension (projected completion date FY 11)
      2. Runway and taxiway re-shouldering (projected completion date FY 12)
        1. Board recommends nighttime construction (thirty days to complete) with nighttime runway closure. Recommendation will permit daylight operations.
      3. Current runway reconstruction (projected completion date FY 12) (Due to cracks in current runway, reconstruction/refurbishment is a board priority.)
      4. Alternative to current runway reconstruction: current runway refurbishment (projected completion date FY 12)
        1. Board recommends runway closure during daylight hours for approximately thirty days to permit a contractor to reseal runway cracks. Taxiway will be marked and utilized as the runway during daylight hours.
      5. T-Hangars (projected completion date FY 11)
      6. Multi-purpose Emergency Response Center (projected completion date FY 12)
        1. Board recommends immediate procurement of rotating beacon and obligation of funds
      7. U.S. Customs facility/relocation of airport manager’s office (projected completion date FY 11)
      8. BLM land acquisition for crosswind runway (projected completion date FY 12)
      9. Commercial access road for Union Pacific (projected completion date FY 12)
    2. Airport Advisory Board long-term projects
      1. West taxiway construction
      2. Crosswind runway and taxiway development
      3. Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) upgrade
    3. Private construction
    4. Re-branding Dona Ana County Airport
    5. Regulating use of county-owned hangars
    6. New Mexico Pilots' Association Event
    7. Aircraft interception procedures on airport / King School procedures
