5. CASE # PUD11-001 Type 2: Submitted by Reliant Land Services for Verizon Wireless, Reg Destree, agent. The applicant is proposing to erect a one hundred-forty foot (140’) tall self-supporting tower for cellular telephone service on a 0.22-acre parcel in Performance District (PD) zoning. It is located on Hwy 192, immediately west of Hwy 478 in Mesquite, within Section 1, Township 25 South, and Range 2 East. The parcel is part of Lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Block 19 of the Mesquite Townsite, recorded on August 9, 1995 in Book 350, Pages 922-925 in the Doña Ana County Clerk’s office. The parcel can be further identified by Map Code # 4-012-145-054-306.

6. CASE # CV11-002: Submitted by Fernie Valles, a request for a Variance to the minimum rear yard setback requirements. The applicant requests a ten foot (10’) rear yard setback in order to construct a 200 sq ft patio; where a twenty-five foot (25’) rear yard setback is required. The 0.34-acre parcel is zoned PD (Performance District) and is addressed as 119 San Benito in Berino, NM. It is described as Block 2, Lots 9 and 10 of the Berino Townsite within Section 3, Township 26S, Range 3E; recorded on December 7, 1909 in Book 3, Page 65 in the Doña Ana County Clerk’s office. The parcel can be further identified by Map Code # 4-016-151-332-507.

CASE # CV11-001: Submitted by the Lower Rio Grande Public Water Works Authority; Variance requests to permit a Low Intensity Non-Residential Use Application to construct a new business office for the La Mesa MDWCA in the Performance District to: 1) road-access standards, where a fifty foot (50’) ROW is required, applicant is proposing to maintain the current forty foot (40’) ROW; 2) parking lot location, applicant seeks to maintain the proposed parking lot configuration fronting St. Valentine St., whereby vehicles would back directly onto the public ROW contrary to the requirement of Section 9.15.C “General Design Requirements” of the Doña Ana County Ordinance, No. 158-95, as amended. The proposed 1993 sq. ft. building would occupy a 0.29-acre property located on 521 St. Valentine’s St in La Mesa, NM. The parcel is described as the north half of Lot 4 in Block 28 of the town of La Mesa, within Section 23, Township 27 South, Range 3 East, as recorded in the Doña Ana County Clerk’s office on December 17, 1990. It can be further identified by Map Code # 4-011-148-308-119.
