CASE # Z10-008/MORENO: The applicants, Manuel and Martha Moreno, are requesting a Zone Change on a 10.00-acre parcel from ER ¾ (Residential, ¾-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site built homes) to EC 2 (Community Commercial, 5000 sq. ft. minimum new lot size) to construct a 23,200 sq. ft. special events center on the property. The parcel is located east of the City of Las Cruces on the corner of Holsome Road and Horace Lane and is addressed as 9047 Horace Lane. It is within Section 17, Township 22 South, and Range 3 East. The property is described as being Lot 2 of the June Acres Addition #4, recorded on October 22, 1992 in Book 17, Page 248 in the Doña Ana County Clerk’s office and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-014-129-118-195. This case was postponed to this date at the regularly scheduled meeting of the ETZ Commission on September 16, 2010.
