CASE # SU09-017/PICACHO MDWCA: The applicant, Picacho Mutual Domestic Water Consumers Association (MDWCA), Karuna Warren, Agent, is requesting a Special Use Permit within the ER2 Zoning District (Residential, 2-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes) to install a new water well and to construct a pump house & chlorination room for the Picacho MDWCA. Pursuant to Article 3, Section 3.1.A.1.d, a public utility facility requires a Special Use Permit within the ER 2 District. A proposed 0.22-acre parcel containing the water well, pump house and chlorination room site, will be subdivided from the northwestern corner of the approximate 51.4-acre parent parcel pending approval of the Special Use Permit. The property is addressed at 4630 Shalem Colony Trail, Las Cruces, NM and is located north of the City of Las Cruces, within Section 33, Township 22 South, and Range 1 East. It is described as part of U.S.R.S Tract 5-89A, and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-003-132-255-370.
