7. CASE # Z09-003/GONZALES: The applicant, Andres Gonzales, is requesting a zone change on a 2.45-acre parcel from ER4M (Residential, ½-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built and mobile homes) to EC1 (Neighborhood Commercial, 5,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) for the purpose of operating an established greenhouse/nursery (Gonzales Nursery). The subject property is located northeast of the City of Las Cruces, at the northeast corner of Bataan Memorial West and Charolais Drive, within Section 9, Township 22 South, and Range 3 East. It is described as Lot 1, Block E of the Cattle-Land Estates, filed in the office of the Doña Ana County Clerk on August 4, 1977, in Book 13, Pgs. 117-118, and can be further identified by Map Code # 4-015-128-423-113. The ETZ Commission, at its regularly scheduled meeting on August 20, 2009, recommended APPROVAL of this case, to the ETZ Authority, by a vote of 5-0-0.
