PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

The Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the following agenda at their regular meeting to be held on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., in the Doña Ana County Government Center Commission Chambers located at 845 N. Motel Boulevard.

1. Approval or Changes to the Agenda
2. Approval of the Minutes: September 28, 2006.

OLD BUSINESS
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY ZONE

3. Case# PUD 06-002: Submitted by Ralph Richards, a request for a Planned Unit Development Overlay Zone Type 2 for the purpose of constructing a warehouse distribution facility that will distribute construction materials and agricultural products. A new railroad spur will serve the facility. The parcel is approximately 21.11-acres in size and is located in Anthony, NM, and is located in Township 26 South, Range 3 East, Section 15, Map Code 4-016-153-180-158. Note: The applicant is requesting that the P&Z postpone this case until November 9, 2006. See attached memo.

NEW BUSINESS
ZONE CHANGE

4. CZ06-003: Submitted by Ricardo Diaz, a Zone Change request from VR-1M, Village Residential Single Family, Mobile Homes to VC-2, Village Residential, Multi-Family within the La Union Village District. The applicant is requesting the Zone Change for a third dwelling on the property. The property is located at 390 South Avenue, La Union, NM within Township 27 South, Range 3 East, Section 20, Map Code # 4-014-160-010-246.

5. CZ06-004: Submitted by Edward Alvarez, a Zone Change request from CR-AG Community Residential, Agriculture to CR-1, Community Residential Single Family. The applicant is seeking the Zone Change in order to pursue a Type Three B Subdivision for 15 lots on a 10.81 acre parcel. The property is currently under cultivation. The property is located approximately 0.2 miles west of New Mexico Highway 28 on Mercantile Road, La Union, NM within Township 27 South, Range 3 East, Section 16, Map Code # 4-015-159-036-491.
