5. CASE#V06-006/VALLES: The applicant, Jimmy M. Valles, is requesting a variance of seven feet and six inches (7.6’) from the front setback of twenty five feet (25’) for a front setback of seventeen feet and four inches (17.4’) within the ER3M Zoning District (Residential, 1-acre new lot minimum, single family site-built homes). The applicant proposes to have a front porch addition of approximately 432 square feet. The 0.18-acre subject property is located within Sec 35, T22S, R1E. The parcel is addressed at 3807 San Ysidro Road and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-005-132-288-310.

7. CASE #Z06-008/POMPEO, COYOTE, WOOTEN: The applicants are requesting a Zone Change on 3 parcels totaling 34.18-acres from ER2 (Residential, 2-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes) to ER3/4C (Residential, ¾ acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes). The Zone Change will accommodate a proposed 22-lot residential subdivision. The 3 parcels are currently under cultivation and contain 2 residential homes. The subject properties are located southeast of the intersection of Roadrunner Lane and Burke Road in Section 10, T23S, R1E, and can be further identified by Map Code Numbers 4-005-134-001-125, 4-005-134-002-050, and 4-005-134-002-090. The ETZ Commission recommended approval of this zone change with a vote of 4-2-0 during a public hearing on July 6, 2006.

8. CASE #Z06-005/VIKING: The applicant, Viking Development, LLC, is requesting a Zone Change on 28.18-acres from ER2 (Residential, 2-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes) to ER3 (Residential, 1-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes). The Zone Change will accommodate a proposed 23 lot residential subdivision, Puerta de Vista. The parcel is currently vacant. The subject property is located south of Achenbach Canyon Road, Section 20, T23S, R3E, and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-014-136-140-473. The ETZ Commission recommended approval of this zone change with a vote of 6-0-0 during a public hearing on July 6, 2006.

9. CASE ETZS-05-098A: An appeal to reverse the denial decision of the Extra-Territorial Zoning (ETZ) Commission on a preliminary plat for a subdivision known as Puerta de Vista Subdivision. The preliminary plat included a waiver request for road improvements of approximately 4,000 ± linear feet on Achenbach Canyon Road from the entrance of the proposed development to Soledad Canyon Road. The subject property is located south of Achenbach Canyon Road. The preliminary plat proposes approximately 11 lots on 28.18 ± acres that is zoned ER-2 Residential District. Submitted by Gunaji-Klement & Associates, Inc. for Viking Development, LLC.
