5. CASE #Z06-001/SMELSER: The applicant, Margaret Smelser, is requesting a Zone Change on a 4.81-acre parcel from ER3M (Residential, 1-acre minimum new lot size, site built and mobile homes allowed) to ER3/4 (Residential, ¾-acre minimum new lot size, single-family site-built homes). The Zone Change will accommodate a proposed residential subdivision in the future. The parcel currently contains an approximate 1,800 sq. ft. doublewide mobile home, to be removed before the future subdivision is constructed. The subject property is located at 5025 Holsome Rd. and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-014-129-120-123. This case was recommended for approval with conditions by the ETZ Commission on March 16, 2006 by a 5-0-0 vote.

6. CASE#APP06-001/BILLINGS: The applicant, Don Billings, is appealing the denial of a Zone Change request from ER3 (Residential, min. lot size 1.0-acre, single-family site-built homes only) to ER7 (Residential, min. lot size 5,000sf, single-family and multi-family residences with a max. density of 15DU/acre). The ETZ Commission denied the Zone Change Request at a public hearing on April 20, 2006. The Zone Change request is to acquire appropriate zoning on 3.38-acres for a proposed multi-family residential development. The subject parcel is located at the southwest corner of Doña Ana Road and Lopez Road and can be further identified by Map Code Number 4-005-131-323-367.
