NOTIFICATION THAT MEMBERS OF THE DOÑA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, POTENTIALLY CONSTITUTING A QUORUM, MAY ATTEND AN UPCOMING EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE

Notice is hereby given that a quorum of the Board of County Commissioners may attend an upcoming educational conference in Honolulu, Hawaii. The conference is not a "public meeting" within the definition of the Open Meetings Act, nor is it open to the public. No County policy will be formulated, nor will any discussion be had for the purpose of taking any action within the authority of the Board. The members of the Board at the conference will take no official vote or other action.

The purpose of this notice is merely to inform the public that its elected member of the Board may be attending the following conference:

The Annual Conference and Exposition of the National Association of Counties, July 15-19, 2005 at the Hawaii Convention Center, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Current issues affecting counties will be addressed in a wide variety of educational sessions led by local, state and federal officials and nationally recognized speakers and experts. A complete list of topics is available at www.naco.org . Members of the public are welcome to communicate their respective concerns relating to the topics of the conference to their commissioners.
