NATIONWIDE WARRANT ISSUED FOR MEXICAN NATIONAL ACCUSED OF CHILD RAPE

New Mexico’s Third Judicial District Court has issued a nationwide warrant for the arrest of a Mexican national who Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators say is wanted for sexual assault against a child.

On Friday, March 9, a warrant was issued for Ernesto Gonzalez, 26, after he was indicted by a grand jury in connection with an assault that occurred on Nov. 24, 2011.

Gonzalez is wanted on charges of first-degree criminal sexual penetration of a child under 13 and bribery of a witness.

Gonzalez is described as five-foot, seven inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He is known to be carrying a resident card that the INS has deemed fraudulent.

Investigators say Gonzalez was last employed at the River Valley Dairy between Mesquite and Vado.
Anyone with information on Gonzalez’s location is asked to call Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators at (575) 525-8806.
