Two dogs believed to have attacked a Santa Teresa man early Wednesday morning have been caught by Doña Ana County Animal Control Officers.
Dan Brown, 57, was walking in the area of McNutt and Country Club Rd. at around 1 a.m. Wednesday when he was reportedly attacked by two dogs.

Doña Ana County Animal Control officers and the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department staff veterinarian were able to locate the dogs – a pit bull and a terrier-pit bull mix – Wednesday afternoon. Both dogs are females.

According to Lt. Marylou Ward, a supervisor with Doña Ana County Animal Control, the dogs will be taken to the animal shelter where they will be quarantined for 10 days and observed for any neurological disorders.

Officers will also try and locate the owners of the animals.
