A man on parole for auto burglary and attempted auto burglary is back in jail after a 15-hour pursuit by Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Shortly after midnight on Jan. 30, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 12000 block of Highway 478 near Mesquite. After approaching Esteban Acosta, Jr., 21, to question him, Acosta fled on foot. He was located and arrested 15 hours later at his home.
