DELAYS EXPECTED DURING ROAD CONSTRUCTION

Motorists throughout Doña Ana County are urged to use caution and expect delays in the coming days, as another winter storm is expected and work on area road projects continues.
Expect delays or seek alternate routes in the following areas:

• Valley Dr. (NM-185) – Tashiro remains closed until further notice. Large farm equipment and oversize vehicles are prohibited from this area until further notice.
• Alameda Blvd. – Expect intermittent lane closures between El Molino and S. Main St. Access to businesses and residential areas will be maintained.

• El Paseo Rd. – Intermittent lane closures expected at Farney Ln. Access to businesses and residents will be maintained.

• Engler Rd. – Expect lane closures from Jornada Rd. to McGuffey Rd.

• McGuffey Rd. – A full lane closure is scheduled from Thurmond Rd. to Engler Rd.
• Melendrez St. – Traffic will be down to one lane north of Main St.

• Rinconada Blvd. – Shoulder work scheduled from Bataaan Memorial West to Ascension Ct.

• Second St. – Intermittent lane closures from Hadley Ave. to Picacho Ave.

• Sonoma Ranch (private dirt road) – Traffic down to one lane north of Dripping Springs Rd.

• South Main St. – From Alameda Blvd. / El Paseo Rd. to Avenida de Mesilla, expect a full lane closure for southbound traffic. Traffic will be detoured into one lane in the northbound lanes.

• Walnut St. – The Griggs St. intersection remains closed.

• Union Ave. – Expect a lane closure for eastbound motorists near the Stern intersection.
