REWARD OFFERED FOR STOLEN WELDER

REWARD OFFERED FOR STOLEN WELDER

The owner of a stolen load of welding materials is offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of his property.

The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case, and investigators believe that sometime in the overnight hours of Dec. 15, a lock was cut that led to the Delara Estates Pecan Farm in Chaparral, where a trailer-mounted 1963 SA-200 Lincoln welder, a black acetylene tank and an orange oxygen tank were stolen.

The victim believes the tire tracks left at the scene could belong to a quad cab, dually-style truck.
A $2,000 reward is being offered by the owner for the return of his property.
