OFFICIALS TO BE SWORN IN DEC. 30 AT COUNTY GOV’T CENTER

Doña Ana County’s legislative delegation, judges and incoming county elected officials who won their respective 2010 elections will be individually sworn-in beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, in the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center.

The Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department Honor Guard will present the colors. The Rev. Dr. Frank Zamora will deliver the invocation. Outgoing District 1 Doña Ana County Commissioner Oscar Vásquez Butler will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and deliver welcoming remarks. Third Judicial District Chief Judge Jerald A. Valentine will administer the oaths of office.

The event is open to the public, but seating is limited.
