APPLICANTS SOUGHT FOR COUNTY’S INTERNAL AUDIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Doña Ana County is seeking applicants willing to serve on the county’s Internal Audit Committee. The committee comprises two county employees and three members of the public.

The internal audit function is designed to strengthen county procedures and to emphasize accountability to the taxpayers. The committee will review applications for the position of Internal Auditor and, once the position is filled, will work closely with the Internal Auditor to develop a comprehensive plan for studying fiscal controls and recommending adjustments to the Board of County Commissioners and the County Manager.

Letters of interest, resumes and reference letters will be accepted through 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, through the Doña Ana County Manager’s Office. Application materials should may be mailed or delivered to Michelle Blackwell, Executive Assistant to the County Manager, at 845 N. Motel Blvd., Las Cruces, N.M. 88007.
