RESCHEDULED: DRIPPING SPRINGS ROAD TO BE NARROWED FOR GUARDRAIL WORK

Due to weather, Doña Ana County road crews will wait until next week to repair the guardrail on Dripping Springs Road where it curves around A Mountain. The west-bound lane will be closed during construction, with flagmen directing traffic.

Weather permitting, the work will begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, and Wednesday, Feb. 17. Construction is expected to finish by 3:30 p.m. both days.

Warning signs will be posted. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes where possible and to slow down and expect delays in the construction areas. Motorists also are reminded to exercise caution in all areas where workers are deployed.
