PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCES TARGET TEEN PREGNANCY, DIABETES

The Doña Ana County, Health and Human Services Department has scheduled two pre-proposal conferences for pilot projects targeting teen-pregnancy intervention and diabetes management/prevention. The conferences will allow potential program providers to review the terms, procedures, and materials contemplated for an upcoming request for applications (RFA).

The Teen-Pregnancy Intervention Pre-Proposal Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday April 7, 2009, at the Doña Ana County Government Complex, 845 N. Motel Boulevard, Room 117 in Las Cruces. The Diabetes Management/Prevention Pre-Proposal Conference will follow from 2-4 p.m. in the same venue.

Anyone planning to attend must make reservations before 4 p.m. Friday, April 3, by calling Martha Trujillo at (575) 525-5868 or by email marthat@donaanacounty.org. Space is limited to two representatives per agency. Attendance is recommended. Those having made reservations will be notified in the event of any changes in the pre-proposal conference dates.

Anyone with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, sign language interpreter or other form of auxiliary aid or service to participate in the conference may contact Trujillo at (575) 525-5868.

A complete schedule of the application and bid-award process will be covered at each of the conferences. Once contractors have been chosen, services will begin on July 1, 2009.
