COUNTY VAN BRINGS LOW-COST SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES TO CHAPARRAL

The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department Animal Control Division is teaming up with the animal organization known as SNAP to continue using the county’s new Animal Control Disaster Relief and Rescue Vehicle for low-cost spay/neuter services.

The next clinics will be held Feb. 21-22 and Feb. 28-March 1 at the Delores Wright Community Center on West Lisa Road in Chaparral. Drop-off will be at 7 a.m. each day.
Owners are asked to bring vaccination records at the time each pet is dropped off.

Co-pays are $15 for cats and $25 for dogs. Pet owners must sign up in advance, as available slots will fill up quickly. Registrations can be made by calling SNAP at (575) 524-9265. The program is aimed at low-income pet owners in Doña Ana County.

This is an ongoing program to curb Doña Ana County’s animal population. Future dates and locations for low-cost, mobile spay/neuter services will be regularly announced.
