DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR VOLUNTEERS TO EVALUATE COUNTY INVESTMENTS

The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners has extended the deadline for applications from people interested in serving on an open seat on the Doña Ana County Investment Advisory Committee. All letters of interest and resumes received by noon Friday, Feb. 13, will be considered.

Doña Ana County residents with financial backgrounds who are interested in serving on the Investment Advisory Committee are encouraged to deliver letters of interest and resumes to the Doña Ana County Special Projects Office at 845 N. Motel Blvd. in Las Cruces. The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners will appoint a person at an upcoming meeting.

All applications will be evaluated by the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners before any selection is made.

The committee works with the Doña Ana County Treasurer’s Office and the Doña Ana County Manager’s Office to formulate investment policies and procedures to ensure the highest possible yield for Doña Ana County’s tax dollars.
