COUNTY ANNOUNCES EXTERNAL AGENCY FUNDING FOR NON-HEALTH SERVICES

Doña Ana County has announced its annual open application period for external agency non-health services PILT funding for the period of July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009. Completed applications must be returned by 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2008, to the Doña Ana County Health and Human Services Department at 845 N. Motel Blvd., in Las Cruces.

Collaborative applications are sought under each of the following funding priorities:

• Animal Services

• Youth Services

• Senior Services

• Educational Services

• Economic-Development Services

Interested agencies are required to meet as a collaborative to complete and submit a single application under each of these priorities. Application packets may be picked up at the Doña Ana County Health and Human Services Department, 845 N. Motel Boulevard, Suite 2-201. Requests for an electronic version of the Non-health-services PILT applications may be sent to jacobn@donaanacounty.org.

Agencies eligible for funding include non-profit, 501c3, state, federal and quasi-government entities. Questions regarding non-health-services PILT funding, the application and collaborative-agency meeting dates should be directed to (575) 525-5838 or (575) 525-5833.
