WORKSHOP WILL FOCUS ON SELECTION OF PAID FIREFIGHTERS

The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners has approved 16 new, paid firefighter positions to augment volunteers in busy districts.

A public workshop to discuss the application and selection process for filling the new positions will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 18 in the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center at 845 N. Motel Blvd., in Las Cruces.
