FOUR-WAY STOP IN PLAY FOR TAYLOR ROAD/DOÑA ANA ROAD INTERSECTION

The Doña Ana County Engineering Office will post four-way stop signs at the intersection of Taylor Road and Doña Ana Road. The new signs will go up on Sept. 11, 2006.

Commuters who regularly use the intersection will notice signs on Aug. 28 warning that the change is coming. On Sept. 11, 48-inch stop signs will be installed, and the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department will begin enforcement.

The change is spurred by an increasing number of accidents at the intersection as traffic in the area increases.
