DETENTION CENTER TO GRADUATE CLASS OF 16 CADETS

The Doña Ana County Detention Center will graduate 16 detention officer cadets on Friday, July 21.

The graduating cadets have satisfactorily completed the six-week Basic Detention Officers’ Academy, which consists of physical training, classroom instruction and field experience. All training is done in-house at the county’s detention center.

The graduating cadets are Donald Dehart, Carrie Foggle, Ruben Hernandez, John Howell, Veronica Jorge, Roxanne Padilla, Adrian Renteria, Scott Ronquillo, Lorenzo Barraza, Jeremy McDonald, Joab Puente, Jamie Ramos, David Rojas, Samantha Alaniz, Vicki Diaz and Vance Belyeu.

Commencement will be held in the Multipurpose Suite of the Doña Ana County Government Center at 845 N. Motel Blvd. The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 21.
