DOÑA ANA COUNTY AIRPORT HOSTS OPEN HOUSE, PLANNING MEETING

DOÑA ANA COUNTY AIRPORT HOSTS OPEN HOUSE, PLANNING MEETING

Doña Ana County is updating the airport master plan for the Doña Ana County Airport at Santa Teresa. The plan will take a comprehensive look at the 20-year future development needs at the airport and will be coordinated with regional development.

The planning initiative will begin with a public open house at the Doña Ana County Airport Manager’s Office at 8000 Airport Rd., in Santa Teresa on Wednesday, July 19, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

This is the first of two planned public meetings concerning the master plan. The master plan is expected to take about one year to complete. The purpose of the July 19 open house is to obtain public participation in the planning process-to seek input on the county’s proposed vision for the airport and to identify issues and needs at the airport. In addition, information about the master plan process, schedule and the makeup of the planning advisory committee will be provided at the open house.
