THREE-WAY STOP TO BE INSTALLED AT DOÑA ANA INTERSECTION

On March 27, 2006, the intersection of Joe Gutierrez and Ledesma in the Village of Doña Ana will become a 3-way stop. On March 13, 2006, signs showing the date of the change will be posted at the intersection. On March 27, 2006, stop signs and stop-ahead warning signs will be posted on Ledesma going south and on Joe Gutierrez heading east to the intersection of Ledesma.

This action is the result of a Doña Ana County Roads Department investigation into the safety of the intersection. Although no serious accidents are on record, recent paving of Joe Gutierrez east of Ledesma has changed the character of the intersection, aggravating existing line-of-sight concerns.
