ROAD CLOSED FOR REPAIRS AFTER CANAL CAVES IN

Traffic on County Road B-30 in the Mesquite area will be closed off tomorrow. The closure follows a partial canal cave-in, which is endangering the roadway.

Traffic today is being slowed down through the area until repair crews arrive. County Road Superintendent Dickie Apodaca said he expects all repairs on the affected area to be completed by 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Residents of the area are advised that County Road B-30 will be closed off tomorrow from the intersection of Missionary Ridge to the intersection of Carnation Court. Local and through traffic will be detoured to accommodate the repair process.
