COUNTY OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY

Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Friday, July 4, 2003, to allow employees to observe the Independence Day holiday. Emergency services and law enforcement will not be affected.

The second regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Board of County Commissioners will not be affected. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003, in the Commission Chambers of the County Courthouse at 251 W. Amador Ave.

The South Central Solid Waste Transfer Center and the county’s solid-waste convenience stations in Anthony, La Mesa, Hill, Butterfield, Mesquite, La Union, Hatch and Garfield will be closed all day Friday, July 4, 2003. All transfer stations and the South Central Solid Waste Transfer Center will reopen Saturday, July 5, 2003.
