AREA AGENCIES SERVE SEAFOOD FOR CHARITY

Law enforcement officers and firefighters from area agencies will serve dinners at the Las Cruces Red Lobster restaurant in order raise money for the New Mexico Special Olympics.

The “Tip-a-Cop” event will feature officers from the following agencies: Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department, Doña Ana County Detention Center, Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility, New Mexico Mounted Patrol, Border Patrol, Las Cruces Police, Sunland Park Police, Las Cruces Fire and New Mexico State Police. The officers will assist Red Lobster wait staff in their serving duties of restaurant patrons. All tip proceeds will benefit the New Mexico Special Olympics.

Officers and firefighters will be serving from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Red Lobster is located at 575 S. Telshor Blvd.
