DOÑA ANA COUNTY PREPARED FOR FLASH FLOOD WATCH

Afternoon clouds are bringing rain showers to parts of the county, and Doña Ana County management is prepared to assist residents.

Director Conrad Estrada said the Office of Emergency Management is receiving continuous reports from the National Weather Service. At 3:00 p.m. the weather service reported isolated thunderstorms for the area, but no flash flood warnings were in effect. The Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch Authority reported no calls-in related to the weather at approximately the same time.

Residents who need road assistance due to flooding can call the Doña Ana County Roads Division at 647-7100.
