FUNDING-REQUEST PACKETS TO BE MAILED LOCALLY

Each year, various community agencies and entities approach the county seeking financial support. Because of budgetary limitations and statutory requirements, the amount of funds the county can disburse in this fashion is limited. In the interest of efficiency and of insuring that all allocated funds are generating a legitimate value to the community, Doña Ana County has produced a funding application packet that will be made available to entities and agencies that serve county residents.

The packets are available for pick up from the Finance Department in the County Manager’s Complex at 180 W. Amador Ave. or from the county’s Health Care Service Office at 1170 N. Solano Ave. Deadline to submit the completed application packets is March 15, 2002, at 5 p.m. Late submissions will not be considered.

The application packet sets guidelines and rules for each funding request, thereby assuring that each request is treated equally and that all information necessary for processing a request is included with the original submission.
