COMMUNITY MEETING IN DOÑA ANA SLATED TO HEAR PARK-FUNDING REQUESTS

Residents of the northern Doña Ana County village of Doña Ana will have the opportunity to attend a community meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at the Doña Ana Community Center to discuss ways in which $107,500 in state funding for recreation needs will be spent.
The special grant funding is earmarked solely for the community of Doña Ana and can be used for site development, landscaping, equipment purchases, parks or community center improvements. The community meeting is being coordinated through the Doña Ana County Grants Department and the Doña Ana Community Association to receive input and set priorities for spending.
