CLERK’S OFFICE OFFERS A VARIETY OF REPORTS

A variety of reports and data are available to the public through the Doña Ana County Clerk’s office.

County Clerk Rita Torres said many residents may be unaware that her office offers several reports for nominal fees to individuals or prospective candidates who fill out the proper request forms. The report data is updated monthly. Among the reports available are:

* Party Summary Report – States the total number of registered voters for various political affiliations.

* Aged Voter Totals by Precinct – Lists a precinct-by-precinct breakdown of the number of registered voters in various age groups, along with the totals and average age of each precinct’s voters.

* Precinct Affiliation and Gender Summary Report – Breaks down the total registered voters in each precinct by major parties and gender.

* Senate District Affiliation Report by Precinct – Organizes precincts by one of the five New Mexico State Senate districts and then breaks down those totals by party and gender.

* Representative District Affiliation Report by Precinct – Organizes precincts by one of the seven New Mexico State House of Representatives districts and then breaks down those totals by party and gender.

* County Commission Affiliation Report by Precinct – Lists all precincts by County Commission district and then breaks down those totals by party and gender.

* Political Subdivision Summary Report – Lists the total number of voters, by major party, within each political subdivision (defined as an incorporated city or town), as well as those residing outside a political subdivision but still within the county.

* Las Cruces City Council Affiliation Report by Precinct – Breaks down the total number of registered voters by precinct and party affiliation within each of the city’s six councilor districts.

* School District Affiliation and Gender Report – Lists registered voters by party and gender within each individual school district and school board seat number, where applicable. The school districts within Doña Ana County are Hatch, Las Cruces and Gadsden.

* Walk Lists – Listing of all residents in a particular area, including full name, party, residence, mailing and phone numbers, date of birth and gender.

*Special Voter Lists – Customized reports that include any/all public information in various formats.

The clerk’s office also provides the following services for nominal fees: Precinct maps ($2 each); Laminated clerk’s certificates (proof of residency) ($1 each); Replacement voter identification cards (.50¢ each); Copies of official documents (.10¢ each); Certified copies of voter registration cards ($1 each); Local fax transmittals ($2.50 for the first five pages and .25¢ per page thereafter); Long-distance fax transmittals ($5.00 for the first five pages and .50¢ per page thereafter); Voter registration applications (free).
