COUNTY SEEKS TWO MEMBERS FOR MMC NOMINATING COMMITTEE SLOTS

When Memorial Medical Center became a non-profit entity in 1998, Doña Ana County was given the responsibility to appoint two area residents to the hospital’s Nominating Committee, which submits names to the board of directors when board vacancies occur.

County Manager Fernando Macias said the county is now accepting applications from interested residents who would like to serve on the Nominating Committee for the next board-nomination cycle.

Residents who would like to serve on the Nominating Committee should submit a resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications, motivations and time-availability related to committee service. Applications will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 12 at the county manager’s office, 180 W. Amador Ave., Las Cruces. N.M., 88001.
